Whether you’re a stationery nerd\, DIY Bride-to-be\, or just a crafty individual\, you’ll be introduced to modern calligraphy with a pointed dip pen and ink in this workshop. We will cover all the basics and prepare you to add those unique lettered details to your snail mail\, wedding paper goods\, home decor\, and more! The perfect crafty day out! \nClass includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration\, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs\, black ink pot\, 2 letter guides\, tracing paper\, and straight pen holder)\, and all materials to write on. Everything is yours to keep at the end of the workshop! \nCheck out their website and say hey on Instagram to learn more about Cordiano Winery. \nGet your tickets below! \nFeel free to come a few minutes early\, grab your seat\, and purchase any food or drinks (food and drinks are available to purchase throughout the class\, too!). We teach the basics\, and our expectation for you is to have ink flowing through your nib with enough confidence to be able to practice way beyond class. We love using tracing paper with our guides to help you build muscle memory and develop your own style!  If you have tried calligraphy out before\, this class will be a great refresher and hopefully a chance to try some new supplies from our beginner kit that will re-introduce you to this lovely form of art! \nA note on bringing guests 16 and under: We love to share this passion with kids. DESCRIPTION:These classes are facilitated by Igor Koutsenko in conjunction with Escondido Art Association and take place in Studio 2 at California Center for the Arts\, Escondido. Instruction will be given for acrylic and oil painting and students must bring their own supplies including easels. \nClasses run 9:30am to noon every Wednesday in Studio 2.\nCost is $25 per class \nQuestion for the instructor? \nThe studios can be reached easiest by parking on the east side of CCAE’s north parking lot.
