LAURIE BEEBE LEWIS is the ONLY former member and “Mama” of the world famous THE MAMAS & THE PAPAS still performing today anywhere in the world. Laurie was with the group for seven years as a lead singer and “Mama” with original members John Phillips and Denny Doherty, plus Elaine “Spanky” McFarlane of SPANKY & OUR GANG. Now Laurie is carrying on their legacy as she performs in concert their songs, as only a former member can perform them.
LAURIE and her band, THE ELECTRIC UNDERGROUND will take you back to the 1960’s when her former band had major hit songs like “California Dreamin”, “Monday Monday”, “Dedicated to the One I Love”, “Creeque Alley”, “Words of Love” and many more.
Plus, you will also be treated to many other 1960’s flower power songs from favorite artists like Janis Joplin, Jefferson Airplane, The Turtles, Smith, The Zombies, The Doors and more.
The concert is accompanied by an on-ongoing video of Laurie as she performed with The Mamas & The Papas. After the show you will get to meet Laurie, the only former member who is still performing.
