Museum Second Saturday A Panel Discussion on The Lagoon Cycle: How Do We Feed Ourselves? and Youth Art & Science Showcase Reception

Celebrate art, science and community in a day full of engaging activities exploring the work displayed at the Museum in the new exhibition, Helen and Newton Harrison: California Work!

At 2:00 PM, join exhibition curator Tatiana Sizonenko for a gallery walkthrough followed by readings from the Harrisons’ poetry composed for The Lagoon Cycle, as well as a panel discussion and audience Q&A. 

Following the panel discussion, the day will conclude with a reception and opening celebration of the Youth Art & Science Showcase, including work inspired by concepts explored in the exhibition created by artists in grades 6-12.

These events are presented as part of Second Saturdays. Every second Saturday of the month, the Museum offers free admission to the galleries and interactive activities suitable for all ages.
