El Grito de Independence con Tierra Caliente Academy – California Center for the Arts

Come together on September 13th to honor the Mexican flag with El Toque de Guerra, the Pledge of Allegiance, the National Anthem, and the traditional Grito de Independencia. We’ll also have an evening of Huapangos during “Música en la Plaza” with the talented TRIO LOS GUEVARA and special guest singer “LuMaya.” Join us at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido, starting at 7 pm. Exactly at 9 pm, the march will play, and we’ll celebrate together! This is a free event—a perfect occasion to teach younger generations about this deeply Mexican tradition and invite the non-Mexican community to celebrate with us.
