Criollo de Oaxaca ‘Maria’ is a mezcal liqueur inspired by the rich flavors of mole negro,crafted in Oaxaca, Mexico. The concept originates from Stephen Torres, who drewinspiration from his grandmother Maria’s traditional mole recipe. To bring the vision tolife, Torres collaborated with Julia Momosé of Kumiko. Espadín mezcal is infused withingredients such as raisins, sesame, oregano, cacao, and chamomile, carefully sourced from Oaxaca’s Central de Abastos market and surrounding areas. After infusion, the liqueur is filtered and finished with miel de agave, resulting in a well-balanced spirit with a 30% ABV.
