Join The Mad Chandler for candle workshops and learn how to make your own candles!
In this workshop, master candlemaker, Cheri Harkleroad, will guide you through the entire candle-making process from vessel and scent selection, to wicking, mixing, and pouring as you make your very own candle.
PLUS you’ll get tips, tricks, and intel straight from the industry that will help you:
- Understand the difference between fragrance oil, natural oils, and essential oils, and which are best for candles
- Understand why some store-bought candles don’t burn well, and how to improve their burns
- Burn candles more safely and reduce the harmful particles released into your air
Please plan to spend about 2 hours total for this workshop. Candle pouring takes about an hour, then your candle needs about an hour to set up before it can be moved. During the drying process, you will have access to a Q&A session with the chandler, time to make new friends, and get special access to a private shopping hour with 15% off any purchases made at The Hidden.
