Hidden City Sounds Series: Lyrical Groove – California Center for the Arts

The Lyrical Groove is an award-winning Hip Hop Soul band that combines spoken word and live instrumentation and cohesively crafts all forms of Black Music to inspire and entertain. The Lyrical Groove consists of lyricist, Kendrick Dial, the multi-talented artist/activist Brisa Lauren, and an assortment of talented musicians. Over the years they have continued to create timeless music that sings life to your humanity and moves your soul. The Lyrical Groove has won three San Diego Music Awards for Best Hip Hop/Soul Artist and Album in 2013, 2014 and 2017 respectively. The Lyrical Groove are set to release their next album Clean Pain this Spring, 2024.
